FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Where are you based?
In Worle, Weston-super-Mare. I see clients in person locally, and online or by phone across the UK. The exact location is shared once we’ve arranged to meet.
How do I get started?
With a free, no-obligation 20-minute call — a relaxed way to talk things through and see if we’re a good fit.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. What you share stays private, within clear professional and legal limits I’ll always explain up front.
What’s the difference between counselling and coaching?
Counselling tends to look inward and back — understanding and healing. Coaching looks forward — clarity, goals and action. I offer both, so we can find the right mix.
Can you help with divorce or child arrangements through the courts?
I offer private, non-court mediation to help you communicate and reach your own agreements. I don’t currently provide court MIAMs or legal-aid mediation — if you need those, I’ll point you to an accredited service.
Do I need a referral?
No — you can contact me directly.
What if I’m in crisis?
Counselling and coaching aren’t emergency services. If you need urgent help, please use the numbers in the footer (Samaritans 116 123, NHS 111, or 999).
